Regent House is located on Heaton Lane in the centre of Stockport, less than 1 mile from the M60 and is an 11-storey building, easily visible as you approach Stockport.

If you are travelling by car

From the M60 - leave the M60 at Junction 1.  Carry straight ahead onto the A5145 (Travis Brow) in the direction of Stockport Town Centre.  Then take the 2nd exit off the roundabout onto Heaton Lane.

From the A6 (from Manchester) – the A6 (Stockport Road) becomes the A6 (Wellington Road North) as you enter Stockport.  Turn right at the lights onto Georges Road (opposite church).  Travel down the hill, go straight ahead at the small roundabout and turn left onto the A5145 (Travis Brow).  Then take the 2nd exit off the roundabout onto Heaton Lane.

From the A6 (from Buxton) – pass through Bramhall Lane/A6 Junction.  The A6 (Buxton Road) becomes A6 (Wellington Road South).  Pass through the lights (A6 becomes Wellington Road North.  Pass Stockport College on left hand side followed by Stockport Town Hall on your right.  Continue down to the bottom of the hill.  Turn left onto Heaton Lane opposite the bus stop.

Parking

We have very limited spaces at Regent House.  If you do wish to reserve a space, please contact the person with whom you are meeting in the first instance.  Priority will be given to disabled visitors.

There are several large car parks in the town centre (see googlemap link above).  The nearest is the large multi-storey car park situated on Heaton Lane opposite Regent House.  Approximate cost for a full day is £6.50.

Parking for disabled persons (blue badge holders)

Every attempt will be made to secure disabled visitors a space at Regent House.  However there are disabled spaces available in Heaton Lane Car Park free of charge for up to 3 hours.

Public transport

Stockport train and bus stations are both only a short walk away.

Many buses drop off on the A6 opposite Heaton Lane.  However, if you are coming from the bus station, walk up the steps to the main road (A6), turn left and walk down the hill to the traffic lights and turn left again onto Heaton Lane.
